Hey there! My name is Alyssa Marie MacKinnon, and I'm the girl behind the lens! I've been a photographer since I could walk and talk - just ask my parents, I was absolutely enthralled with our disposable film cameras and camcorders as a little girl! Over the last two decades, I've owned more cameras than pairs of shoes, and I spent the majority of my time annoying my friends by pointing one in their face. In 2017, I second shot my first wedding, and from then on I was hooked. I decided that summer that I would take my life-long hobby and turn it into my full-time career. 8 years later, I am more passionate about it now than I was on that day. I live to capture authentic memories for wildly in love couples who want to preserve their memories for generations to come.

Our wedding was planned for September 24, the day of Hurricane Fiona. While trying to reschedule our wedding to the next day, with very little cell service, Alyssa literally went above & beyond to offer us help & found us a photographer to work with us on Sunday, since she had another wedding already scheduled that day. From our first interaction with Alyssa, all the way through the wedding planning process, she was an absolute sweetheart. She was so helpful in every aspect, all the tips & tricks she gave along the way, really helped & eased our nerves. She is reliable, gets back to you in a timely manner, makes you feel so comfortable in front of her camera & her work is unbelievable.
